No Parliamentary session for Special Court in Kosovo this thursday

The session for the Constitutional amends will not be held this Thursday
in the Parliament of Kosovo, since the consultations will continue.

The Parliament Speaker, Kadri Veseli, met with the chiefs of the Parliamentary groups but was unable to find a compromise.

The Spokesperson for the government, Arban Abrashi,declared for the media that the Parlaiment will discuss in the weeks to come the constitutional amends for the creation of the Special Court.

“We believe we have the necessary votes”, he said for RTV21.

The Parliament of Kosovo said “no” to the constitutional amends for the creation of the Special Court, while the government’s request to repeat the procedures is being seen as realizable by the Parliament’s representatives and representatives of the civil society.

The Parliament’s Deputy Speaker, Xhavit Haliti, said for Top Channel that the Parliament has not specified by law when a draft-law or amendment can be returned.
