The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, declared that time when the
Shkoder citizens voted the Democratic Party on militant basis is over.
He added that the Democratic Party militants are disappointed today, because it is not enough to be a Democratic Party militant, but you need to have money or blood relations.
“We will win and this is clear, because the awareness in Shkoder has increased. Enough is enough. They have been giving their trust to these people who abused with Shkoder and laughed at the dissidence and political persecution of Shkoder”, Rama declared.
The residents of this area were interested to know about the measures that the Socialist government would take after the June 23rd elections for stopping the floods.
“We will make a detailed project and will start facing this problem, because we cannot call this a natural problem anymore. It is not natural to get flooded every time that it rains. There’s no sense to it. We will not find peace until we guarantee tap water and irrgation systems for every square meter of agricultural land in Albania. We will support you by reducing the gas prices with 35%, and the cost of everything else by reducing taxes. We will remove VAT”, Rama declared.
Rama promised to end the efforts of those who have uncertified lands.
“For 20 years people have worked their lands and yet they don’t own it, until a relative of Jozefina Topalli appears one day as owner and everything must end there. All propertis will be certified and the farming families will be their owners”, Rama declared.
The electoral meetings of the Socialist Party leader continued in Puka.
“The Albanian people must understand that its better part should not stay without doing anything, but it should win this battle against ruin”, Rama declared.
