The Technical Inspectorate has the responsibility to prevent fires
caused by faulty gas cylinders. Arian Goshi, Director of the Department
of Pressurized Equipments, says that there were six gas cylinders in the
bar that took fire, one of which very damaged.
“Gas cylinders are not allowed inside bars. They have a special place outside. The owner kept them inside, and filled them to the closest gas station”, says Arian Goshi.
When asked by Top Channel why the Inspectorate leaders don’t take their responsibilities, Goshi says they will start looking for other solutions now that the accidents have been repeated.
However, the law is clear that gas cylinders are not allowed inside restaurants, bars, theaters, etc.
