No government in Skopje, European Parliament postpones plenary session for Macedonia
03/03/2017 00:00
The European Parliament will postpone the plenary session for the
resolution on Macedonia, if the country doesn’t form a government within
the next week.
The Macedonian news agency “MIA”, based on their Brussels sources, says that the European Parliament members will not adopt the resolution if there are no results from Macedonia.
Same as with Serbia, where the resolution was postponed due to the Presidential elections, the European Parliament will not hold the session if no new government is formed by March 13th.
The Foreign Affairs Committee at the European Parliament approved the resolution for Macedonia past week, with 54 votes in favor and eight against.
