No customs fee for USA

Profiting from the “General System of Preferences”, which includes 128 states, the Albanian producers will have more access in the US markets under the customs free regime for 3500 goods.

“In this list are included most of the goods produced in Albania and inputs, most of jewelries, agricultural goods, agricultural fertilizers, minerals, marble”, declared Bill Jackson at the US Commercial Representation Office.

“On the other hand there are some products that will not be allowed without Customs. I know that many of you will be disappointed when hearing that they make most of them, but not all of them, such as textiles, clothes and shoes”, Jackson declared.

Albania has been part of this project since 2009, but the exports in this system have been sporadic. In the last two years there has been a doubling of the exports of Albanian goods towards the US markets, and for this reason, the producers are being stimulated from this system.
