The opposition leader and also Mayor of Tirana, has closed all options
for compromise with the majority for the electoral reform, and there
will be no public consultations.
“No commune will be able to change without hearing the voice of the citizens”, Basha declared.
“The territorial reform, which is also an electoral reform and reform of the local administration, cannot start without a consensus between the majority and the opposition. Not only consensus with the opposition, but also a wide civil consensus through consultations, transparency, all-inclusiviness and accountability, which is a constitutional condition”, Basha declared.
Basha: Government increased the fiscal burden
Referring to the 4-hour strike of the public transportation in Tirana, Basha accused the government of increasing the debt and nothing is being used for increasing investments and for development.
“Rather than thinking of how using the legal instruments and the positive energy to help the users of the public transport, without raising the ticket price, and by increasing the usage of the public transport, whose requests are realistic, through schemes that are known by the entire world, such as subventions or even easier taxes, they see of how to increase the oil price”, Basha declared.
Speaking in front of the right wing local administrators, Basha accused the Rama-Meta government for the safety in our country, saying that they have hired militants in the police, and people who are related with smuggling and drug traffic.
