The 50-year-old woman transferred urgently from the Lushnja hospital, who had recently returned from Padova, Italy, has tested negative for the new coronavirus.
Director of the public health institute Silva Bino says that now are being tested not only cases with travel history to Italy but also those who have severe respiratory symptoms with no history of travel in places affected by Covid 19. She also ensures the reliability of the virus tests performed in the laboratory.
Other experts in the field of infectious diseases share the opinion that despite no one being identified as affected by Covid 19, the virus may be passing with mild or no symptoms, as has happened with many patients in Italy and China.
