Nishani for AFP: Justice system, a priority
The new Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, gave an interview for the French news agency, AFP, right before taking his oath as president.

As for the integration, Nishani said that despite the current divisions, EU membership is a desire of 90% of the Albanians, and for this reason the politicians should join forces.
“I’m optimistic that Albania will receive the EU status this autumn. It is clear that the EU integration is a process that obliges us to work more for deserving the membership”, declared the newly elected President.
Nishani added that he will not be influenced by any political force, emphasizing that the cooperation between the majority and the opposition was very important.
