While the attention is focused on the recent conflict in Northern
Kosovo, the Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi met his Albanian homologue,
Bujar Nishani.
The two state representatives discussed about order and safety for both countries, and about war against crime in both countries.
During this meeting it was emphasized that criminal groups and traffickers do not know limits, and their activity is becoming even more sophisticated. For this reason, the cooperation between the justice systems of both countries remains a priority in the war against organized crime.
By praising the professional intervention of the Kosovo Police Special Units in the two border checkpoints, Minister Nishani emphasized that law, order and security are what guarantee democracy and what protect human rights.
