The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, decreed all the members of the
government cabinet at 11:00, exactly when the Parliament meeting was
appointed.
The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, met with the leaders of the Parliamentary Groups and postponed the plenary session at 18:00.
The new Council of Ministers will be introduced in this session, together with the program of the new government. The debates about the program will be held this weekend, in a special session.
Regardless the opposition’s claims and warnings for boycott due to the insufficient time for studying the program before discussion, it seems that there is an agreement and the first sessions that will legitimate the new government have started through consensus.
