Nishani appeals Albanian government from the US

The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, met with the Albanians of the Pan-Albanian Federation, “Vatra”, in the United States.
During his speech the Head of the Albanian State gave another political message for the new government, asking its maximal commitment to bring forward the development and European Union integration of this country.
“A new government has just started working in Albania, which has to work day and night to push our country forward, continuing this way the necessary reforms for the development and prosperity of every citizen in this country. We trust to receive the European Union candidate status based on merits, thanks to the fulfillment of the recommendations and the European Commission”, Nishani declared.
The Albanian President valued the role played by “Vatra” and its contribution in the history of Albania. This federation, according to Nishani, made it possible for Albania to create a great friend such as the United States of America.
Before this meeting Nishani attended a visit at the Vatra building in New York, where he med with President Gjon Bucaj and a small group of leaders of this organization.
