Newly voted President Ilir Meta receives Haradinaj

Haradinaj congratulated Meta for being voted President of Albania, and underlined the importance of increasing cooperation with Kosovo, to serve peace and stability in the region.

Meta said he was happy for the deserved and decent return of Haradinaj in Kosovo, valued his personal role, and also the role of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

The newly voted President of Albania and Kosovo’s former Prime Minister discussed about the recent political matters in both countries, sharing the same belief that the realization of free and fair elections, improvement of democracy, rule of law and economic development of both countries serves to the European perspective, our citizens and long-term stability of Balkan.
