Thousands of Albanians gathered in New York today to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Greek massacres against Albanian Chams.
The parade organized by the “Albanian Roots” organization, without any political support, was led by Top Channel’s journalist, Marin Mema.
“We have never appealed for revenge or for extreme actions. We only want justice for the thousands of people who don’t have a grave today, and who can’t touch their homes. All we wat is justice and nothing else. There are many Albanian hearts today, and there’s nothing that Albanian hearts cannot achieve”, Mema declared.
This parade has turned into an annual symbol of the Albanian Diaspora.
