Same as every year, the Albanian citizens have made the final purchases for the traditional family dinner of the New Year’s Eve.
People buy provisions on their favorite markets, not always happy with the prices.
“Prices are higher today because they want to profit more”, says one buyer, while another one says that prices have not changed this year.
Merchants say that the purchases this year have fallen significantly, compared to other years.
The Tirana Municipality tried once again to keep the prices under control, but merchants say that products coming from abroad have had a price increase.
