The Korce hills were known for the vegetation, and now are being regenerated for preserving this special view.
This green area will have more trees in order to preserve its originality and for not losing what this city has had as tradition in years.
The Forest Service Directory has planted saplings in the city hills, which will be irrigated every three days in cooperation with the Korce Municipality.
Another operation has tane place in Diber. The Diber Forest Service Directory and several associations organized the first phase of reforestation in these 23 years in Diber. This action started in the Maqellara area, where the first 200 trees were planted.
