established a few times ago with the aim of closely following local and
foreign investments, under the care of Prime Minister Sali Berisha has

development of tourist resorts in Kavaja district.
The first project will be built in Gose by a British consortium, in a 650 ha surface. This project aims to built of a small multifunctional town.
The second project is in Synej, and belongs to a Swiss consortium. It proposes the construction of a yacht port, and besides it, a tourist small town with a surface of 60 ha. Prime Minister Berisha declared that it is very important to respect the standards during the implementation of these projects, as the preservation and improvement of the environment in tourist areas.
“90% of our coastline is undeveloped. This means that we must not be greedy when putting it in use. We must fulfill the best standards and preserve the environment by respecting the laws about spaces and heights of the new buildings”, Berisha declared.
Both projects might cost at least 2 billion EUR. These are the first projects when the Albanian Agency for Investment and Development will implement in order to continue its mission for being the central contact point for foreign and local investors.
