The National Inspectorate of Territory Protection has started an
operation for demolishing the objects that will block the enlargement of
the new Tirana Ring Road.
This operation focused on the objects build along the rod from the Komuna e Parisit to the Technological School.
Sources at the Inspectorate say that the owners have been expropriated beforehand, since the project has the support of the Albanian Road Authority, which has realized all the necessary procedures for the demolition.
The Ring Road has started years ago, but it has been interrupted several times due to the expropriations.
