November 28th is the birthday of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Adem Jashari.

The Mayor of Tirana, organizer of this ceremony, this was the case to show his origin from Drenica.

“As Mayor of Tirana and a friend of Drenica and Kosovo, allow me to welcome Bac Adem Jashari”, Basha declared.

“I wish that on November 28th, the day of our flag, the Albanian people will be more united so that we can achieve our goals together, goals for which these people fought and gave their lives, and so that we can accomplish their desires”, declared Refat Jashari.

“This meeting, after the ones in Skopje, Prishtina, Mitrovica, Drenica, Llap, Karadak, Dukagjin and anywhere else, gives a meaning to the 100th anniversary of independence, because Commander Adem Jashari and his warriors gave a significance to the freedom and independence in Kosovo”, Hashim Thaci declared.

“We are gathered here from all Albanian lands. We feel proud for you, commander, and today we promise that we will make everything possible to turn the national unification dream to reality, as the most noble and most European dream of this country”, Berisha concluded.
