The Coronavirus, or the “New Sars”, as it is also known, has alarmed the
entire world due to the quick spreading and the mortality rates.

According to the Infective Diseases Department Director, Silva Bino, this virus has a high mortality rate because it affects vital organs and aggravates the patient’s health very quickly.

“The virus gives signs in the respiratory system that might not be very aggravated at first, but they deteriorate very quickly. Besides damaging the respiratory organs, this virus also affects the kidneys”, Bino declared.

Although the coronavirus that appeared in Saudi Arabia has now approached to France, Albania might risk only by the movements of its citizens in the affected countries, now that it has been confirmed that the coronavirus is spread from man to man. However, Bino underlines that there is no room for panic, because the situation is under control.

“There is an international spread. There have been cases in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Germany, the UK and France. What has alarmed the world is that one patient has been infected after staying in the same room with a coronavirus patient. For the moment we don’t see any risk, but we are monitoring the situation each day”, Bino declared.
