The Albanian government has started a third operation after that of
illegal constructions and electricity thefts, this time for quality of
fuels. Prime Minister Edi Rama sent a public message to all businesses:

“I am here today because I think it is important for the entire industry to take this clear message. We will support anyone who makes righteous enterprises based on law. But we will support everyone in this sector who makes enteroprises based onl law. But we will not agree with any enterprise that violates the law. Their stories with this industry causing huge damage must come to an end. We will end them by giving everyone what they deserve”, Rama declared.

The Prime Minister considered this operation as a vital battle for the Albanian people and the national economy.

“The battle with those who steal our natural assets and with the fraudulents who sell bad oil to the Albanian people, is a vital battle for the national economy and that of families, but also for the environment we live in”, Rama underlined.

Four ministries are involved in this operation. According to the Prime Minister, there will be stric inspections from the customs to the retail sellers. Rama said that zero tolerance will stop theft and damaging of the economy, the citizens’ budget and the environment pollution.
