New Greek government sets future foreign policy plans, including Albania’s EU accession negotiations

The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, announced the main foreign policies that will be followed by the new government.
Dendias claimed that Albania has implemented only one of two important agreements that it has signed with Greece in 2009, and one of them (the cemetery for the fallen Greek soldiers) only recently.
He said that they would expect Albania to implement the second one, regarding the Greek minority in Albania.
For this reason, Dendias states that the opening of the EU accession negotiations for Albania should be monitored very closely to verify if the five priorities are met, including the respecting of the Greek minority rights.
