Albania has started to plan the new development strategy, until 2020,
which has as priorities are “Albania, a developed country” and
“Albania’s EU integration”.

For the achievement of these two objectives, according to Prime Minister Berisha, some of the main pillars, as the safest ways for reaching the development standards, will be: the Digital Albania program, Fruit Tree Forestation and Education Reforms.

“The 2013-2020 strategy will have as major objectives ‘Albania, a developed country’ and ‘Albania’s EU integration’. This is our task, our objective, our dream. In the strategic level, you must always imagine the unimaginable, if you want to crystallize an inspiring vision”, Berisha declared.

The development strategy of the country until 2020, according to the Prime Minister, will have consultations with the Civil Society, the academic world and the interest groups, in order to receive the best ideas for the country’s development.

Berisha also valued as a very positive factor the cooperation of the opposition for reviewing the national integration plan, which must be included in the new strategy as one of its main pillars.
