The 100th anniversary of Tirana as capital of Albania will be marked not only with a new ring road, but also with a new bus terminal, according to the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
“We have started the 100th year of Tirana as a capital with concrete works. Tirana needed 100 years to come to the point where it is today, but we can’t wait another 100 years to take some very important decisions, such as Tirana’s Big Ring Road, which goes through the Teodor Keko area”, Veliaj declared.
The new terminal will offer more spots for buses, while the Southeastern Buses will move to Tirana’s South-Eastern terminal.
Another good news, according to Mayor Veliaj, is that the southern terminal will be built within this year at the Farka area.
