In a meeting with journalists, summoned by Lulzim Basha to discuss the impact of drug money in the economy, the DP leader was questioned about the negotiations with Greece regarding the maritime border agreement.
“We want good neighbouring relations with Greece and to resolve our issues, but we are against negotiations that go against the interests of Albania. We have requested information because the only information has come from Greece”, Basha declared.
Basha accused the government of lying when they say that no negotiations were held at a technical level, without authorization from the President.
“The negotiations were made and their staff had technical representatives in Crete and Korca as well, completely against the Constitution”, Basha declared.
