NDS: No coalition with Berisha or Rama

NDS declared that their only coalition will be with the citizens, not with parties that infringe the Constitutional principles.

“NDS declares that we will work for consolidating our political force and turning it into an important factor of the Albanian political life”, the declaration says.

“NDS declares that our only coalition will be with the Albanian citizens, in function of the construction of the rule of law and the realization of the Albanians’ aspiration for becoming part of the big European family”, the press release declared.

NDS adds that a coalition with the opposition leader is unrealizable.

“NDS will not be part of any coalition with Mr. Berisha or Mr. Rama. It is clear for everyone that there is a coalition between the DP and SP, which amended the electoral code by not respecting any of the Constitutional principles or the other political parties’ will”, the declaration concluded.

NDS established its branches in several Albanian cities, such as Lushnje, Korce and Elbasan, with the promise that they will be a party for the citizens.

The cooperation with the SP was also rejected by NDS’s current leader, Gazmend Oketa, during an interview on Top Channel’s “Top Story” on July 5th.
