The NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, has officially announced their invitation for Macedonia to join the summit of the Northern Alliance.
“In 2008, NATO decided to invite Macedonia and join them after resolving the name issue with Greece, based on the UN structures. We greet this historic agreement”, the draft-conclusion says.
The conclusions also greet the agreement with Bulgaria.
“We greet the efforts of the government for the important progress reached with several reforms”, the documents state.
NATO greets the construction of a multi-ethnic society and appealed for more efforts in this area.
