NATO’s TV channel has aired a documentary of the Kucova airbase, a very important project for Albania.
The link of the video was the first thing posted by the Albanian Prime Minister this morning, while President Ilir Meta declared that the modernization of the Kucova airbase is a very important step, which shows that the alliance is very active in our region.
General Ted Walters, Commander at the NATO air forces, says that the airbase connects the region with the entire continent: “Peace and prosperity is very important in the southern side of the continent”, he said. “For this reason, Albania has a critical significance in Western Balkan. After joining the NATO in 2009, the country has contributed with the NATO missions.”
