“Nation’s Road” toll fee, PM Haradinaj: “It is exaggerated”

Reactions from Kosovo against the Nation’s Road toll fee peaked with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who was careful to underline that this is a matter belonging to the Albanian border, but the Rama government should complete the road that started during Sali Berisha’s government and that is not yet complete.

“Going from Morina to the tunnerl is very difficult. It is not completed. It is dangerous. Rama is in his second term and he should complete this road. There’s the part from the border with Kosovo to the tunnel, the part in Milot and then in Vora”, Haradinaj said.

The Kosovo Prime Minister said that the toll fee affects Kosovo citizens mostly, who will lose more time and pay more money. For the Prime Minister, this is exaggerated.

“It is exaggerated, especially for the fact that I haven’t heard anyone say that they will complete its construction. I’d pay 5 Euros if it meant a better maintenance and completion”, Haradinaj declared.

Truck drivers from Kosovo protested this Wednesday in Morina against the tax for heavy trucks, which is 22 Euros.
