One day after Fiks Fare reported the passage of scarce chicken from the
Kakavija border, the National Food Authority inspector, Selman Caka, was
suspended and is waiting for an investigation.
The General Director of the Food Authority, Isuf Shehu, says in a communication for the media that the inspector is fired for failing to comply with the rules.
The Food Authority guarantees the public that all measures will be taken to guarantee food safety.
