Names of people who collaborated with the Secret Service of the former communist regime will not be held secret anymore.
Names of people who collaborated with the Secret Service of the former communist regime will not be held secret anymore.
The government passed a law which forces the current Secret Service, the Interior and Defense Ministries to make available to the Authority for Information every case file of the former Secret Service from November 29th, 1944, to July 2nd, 1992.
These three institutions will also report for any modification made to these files after July 2nd 1992.
This marks the first concrete step towards the much debated process that will identify people who used to collaborate with the notorius Secret Service of the Communist regime.
