One day after the protest in the center of Prishtina, the Prime Minister
of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, declared that they will not tolerate if the
public order is put in danger by people who he said have violence as
their only political instrument.

Mustafa said that the security situation is under full control by the independent and constitutional institutions.

The Minister of Interior, Skender Hyseni, criticized the organizers of the protest for not requesting a permit based on the law. He said that the police showed professionalism, but, according to him, the protesters were violent and threw life-threatening objects against the officers.

“All objects used by the protesters were potentially fatal. We are talking about solid concrete blocks and other objects, Two officers have been badly injured”, Hyseni declared.

Sources from the Kosovo University Clinic Center say that three protesters and one police officer have been injured badly, but out of life threatening conditions.

Dr.Merkur Dobroshi, says that one protester might undergo an operation, while others will be treated normally.

Officials of the Kosovo University Clinic Center say that the total number of people who asked medical help mounts up to 170, part of whom are being treated at home.

The Parliament Speaker, Kadri Veseli, declared that the debate for Trepca and other matters should be discussed in Parliament, not on the street, since it only makes happy who don’t wish Kosovo well.
