Thousands of Muslim believers in Albania performed today the prayer on the Eid al-Fitr.
The prayer started at 06:55 in many cities in mosques and main squares.

In Tirana, the faithful prayed in the main Skënderbej Square, under the direction of the President of the Muslim community, Bujar Spahiu.
The ceremony continued with the greeting speech of the president of the Muslim Community of Albania, who conveyed to the attendees the congratulations and greetings of this day of joy for all Albanian Muslim believers.
The Albanian population consists of at least 70 percent Muslims, but it is characterized by the harmony between all religious beliefs and a tolerant approach to all people.
