Genc Ferhati, one of the most notorious criminals in Tirana for the
years 1997-2000, whose date of release is coming, is arrested once again
by the police for threats.
Ferhati has ordered his collaborators from the Peqin Prison to oblige a coffee businessmen pay them a percentage. Arrested under the same charge are Pajtim Serjani, Arjan Luli, Ditmar Reci and Klevis Karadashi.
Elvis Karoli and Arben Haxhihyseni are on the run. Pajtim Serani has been arrested for failing to report a crime, which ended up in an armed conflict at the Kavaja Street months ago.
The Vice Chief of Tirana Police explained one of the mechanisms used by the group for the threats. Genc Ferhati communicated through the internet from Peqin. He asked the victim for 13 million ALL as part of his profit in 2014, claiming that he was a co-shareholder of his firm.
The businessman had suffered physical violence several times. He made the report at the police while Ferhati was serving a 15 year sentence for the murder of Denis Gina and Median Shehu in Tirana.
