Parliament Members must declare each year a detailed list of their
profits. Open Data Albania has ranked the ones with the highest earnings
for 2015.
The most paid MP is Anastas Angjeli, who receives 2.6 million ALL from the Parliament and 2.9 million ALL from his job as university professor.
109 MPs have declared their salary as the only income. The rest have payments for other posts, such as members of the Council of Ministers, or in universities.
Ben Blushi has the highest income from bank deposits, titles and obligations, followed by Liljana Elmazi, Genc Ruli, Shpetim Idrizi, Nard Ndoka, Edmond Spaho, Majlinda Bregu, Flamur Noka, Eduard Halimi, etc.
As for incomes from businesses, Tom Doshi is ranked first, followed by Eduard Selami and Dashamir Peza.
For revenues from the public administration and copyrights, PM Edi Rama comes first, with 2.7 million ALL, followed by Ben Blushi, Mimoza Hafizi and Dashamir Shehi.
MPs with more revenues from their family members, are Gentian Bejko, Ridvan Bode and Klodiana Spahiu.
MPs with most revenues from spouses, are Anastas Angjeli and Olta Xhacka.
Most revenues with payments covered by third parties are Koco Kokedhima, Bujar Derveni, Besnik Baraj and Anastas Angjeli.
Most revenues from court verdicts for their unpaid salaries as MPs are Arta Dade, Gramoz Ruci, Ervin Koci, Besnik Baraj, Eduard Shalsi, Fatmir Xhafaj and Erion Brace..
