Intensive communication with citizens through the offices of Parliament
Members, turning them into promoters of community development.

This was the request made by Prime Minister Edi Rama to the entire Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party.

“The requests, complaints and suggestions of citizens are the most indispensable and irreplaceable resource for having a good local and central governance. Hence, I ask each of you to establish uninterrupted contact with citizens through the Parliament Member’s office. There will be a constant communication with the Parliament Members, as a necessity to guarantee a better service to our country and to our people during our governing mandate”, Rama declared.

Rama also asked his Parliament Members to find foreign investments in the areas where they have been elected, so that they can create more jobs.

“The Parliament Members must become integral part of our efforts to bring foreign companies from our neighboring countries or even further. The government will open a new chapter in this direction and we support strongly every investment request in Albania, in order to create new jobs. In cooperation with the government, let’s start once again the planning of the foreign working visits, to contact the business world in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Austria, France and anywhere else, and present the potentials and advantages of each area in our country.

Rama also mentioned the issues related to agriculture and informal areas, a major promise during the Socialist Party campaign.

“Property ownership on land, securing water in parcels, encouraging cooperation with farmers, are some of the basic elements of our duty to bring in life the government program that require intensive communication. It is time to start discussing in the communities of informal areas for the free legalization process for houses, aiming the construction of successful models that should be built over cooperation with the electors”, Rama declared.
