03/10/2019 16:51

The MP of the opposition, Ralf Gjoni, criticized the government but also the EU structures about the current situation with the accession negotiations.

“This is a key moment for reflection. The negotiations should have been opened long ago. We would have progressed right now more quickly and with more justice”, Gjoni declared.

“The EU failed with the way how they managed the situation in Western Balkans, almost 31 years after the fall fo the Berlinneg Wall. We must reflect. The EU is a problematic family with its own interests. The EU doesn’t have any great love for us. They don’t have time for us. The sooner we get this, the better it will be. The EU is a Union based on national interests. The negotiations will be a painful and tiring process. I have no hopes from the negotiations”, Gjoni declared.

As for the three conditions coming from the German Parliament, Gjoni said that the Socialists Party must act immediately to start with the judiciary reform and free vote.
