MP Mesila Doda from PJIU talks about possible coalitions with the SP

The Socialist Party has not made any coalition invitations yet neither
to the “Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity” which protects the case
of Cham Albanians, who were evicted and massacred in Greece after WWII,
and yet they are not recognized – nor to the New Democratic Spirit, led
by former President, Bamir Topi.

However, MP Mesila Doda, who for the first time is siding with Shpetim Idrizi’s PJIU, said that there have been contacts.

No real terms have been discussed yet, according to Doda, but for them, the Cham case is the only that has not progressed in the past 70 years, and something needs to be done.

Doda says the Cham case will be the core of their negotiations, since they believe that coalitions should not be based on numbers, but on causes. “And the Cham case must be seen now as a national cause”, she adds.

Mesila Doda answers to critics who say the Socialist Party should make coalitions only with left parties, and the right-winged PJIU should not be part of the,

“People are trying to make the SMI and PJIU appear like to rival lover fighting for the big man. This comparison is not ethical and doesn’t help anyone. There is room for everyone”, Doda underlined.
