Ministers, deputies and political leaders of the SP in power, it is reported that through an internal communication were asked not to comment on the house arrest of the former prime minister of the opposition Sali Berisha.

Since December 30, when Berisha obeyed the court’s order, the socialists have given zero comments, but from the parliamentary commission of laws, deputy Petro Koçi gave this reaction today on the development with the former democratic prime minister.

“The situation in which MP Sali Berisha finds himself is neither the fault of the SPAK prosecution, nor the fault of PM Edi Rama, nor the fault of the SP nor the fault of the opposition DP, but Sali Berisha’s fault lies with his children. Those whom he has fathered are eating his head. They are taking him by the neck with this kind of absurd protection that they are holding,” said Petro Koçi.

Berisha has been placed under house arrest for the issue of foul privatizations in the premises of the former sports club Partizani, where his son-in-law Jamarber Malltezi is also involved.
