Mother Theresa closer to sanctification

Mother Theresa is expected to be sanctified in the next September, now that Pope Francis recognized the second miracle.

The news was given by the “Avvenire” newspaper, published by the Italian Conference of Bishops.

The miracle is related to the unexplainable healing of a Brazilian man with multiple brain tumors. Father Elmiran Ferreira Santos told church authorities that a man was healed after the constant prayers of his wife to Mother Theresa.

Mother Theresa was beatified in 2003 by Pope John Paul II.
