Shkelzen Dumani, one of the Albanians who went to fight in Syria and was
declared wanted by the Albanian government, has been declared dead.
The Albanian man from Dibra left Syria one year ago and took his two children 9 and 11 years with him, without telling anything to his wife.
The woman reported the kidnapping of her children right away, and they were considered disappeared.
The Turkish Police held them for a few hours in airport, but he was able to leave thanks to bureaucratic procedures.
Desperate, Shkelzeni’s mother prayed her son on the phone to return, but he went to Syria. She also went to Syria, trying to get back her nephew and niece, but she was held there.
The drama now has fallen on the two children and their grandmother. No one knows in which camp they might be, or in which part of Syria.
A similar case took place in Kosovo some time ago, when the father took the children with him, but the Secret Service of Kosovo was able to return the child to his mother.
Due to the irresponsibility of a parent, the two children are today in Syria, while the family appeals to turn them back.
