The mother of the three children that were abandoned yesterday appeared
on her own will at the Police Department no.4 in Tirana, around 19:00,
where she is currently being held under custody.
Violeta Kala appeared at the police to claim her children, whom she had abandoned a few days ago. After confessing by giving her version of the facts for the reason she had left home, police decided to investigate and verify her declaration.
But other sources say that the woman is not saying the truth when she pretends to be taken by force by unknown people.
For the police, the woman might have mitigating circumstances due to her difficult financial situation, but she won’t avoid trial for abandoning her children. However, the same sources declared that this will be determined after the investigations.
The drama of this family will continue with the court reviewing the custody of the three children of 2, 4 and 6 years of age. Until the court decision, the three children will stay at the National Center of Traffic Victims in Linze.
