Mother and daughter found dead in their home, relatives say were practitioners of a religious sect

The body of Zhaneta Josifi, 56, and her 30-year-old daughter Anisa were found at their home when firefighters stormed in after being alerted by concerned relatives.

The other daughter of Zhaneta was taken to hospital in critical condition. For several days, relatives of this family tried to enter, but Zhaneta did not open. It was the brother-in-law who notified the police on Thursday evening, and then firefighters forced their way through a toilet window, where they found Janeta and Anisa dead inside.

According to sources close to forensic medicine, it is reported that Anisa’s body was found half decomposed after having died some time ago. The girl is suspected of having lost her life because she refused food for a long time, while some sources say that the victims practiced a religious sect.
