Mortality rate drops, but tumor cases increased in one year

Mortality of the Albanian population was reduced with 4.6% in 2016, compared to 2015.
87.4% of the deaths are natural, accidents cause 2.1%, and suicides 1.1%.
Most of the natural deaths are caused by blood circulation diseases, at 52%, followed by tumors with 15.8%.
INSTAT has verified that 2016 saw a 2.1% increase of tumor cases in Albania, as compared to 2015. The infant mortality rate has also increased with 18.9%.
The highest deaths for 10.000 citizens come from Gjirokastra and Korca, with 121 and 95. Tirana has the lowest, with 60%.
