Tirana is marking an increase of STDs due to unprotected sexual relations.
According to the statistics, the syphilis that had disappeared for years has just returned, and there are 19 new cases with HIV.
Although the Hepatitis B is decreasing, since the newborns and teens are vaccinated, we are still the country with the highest number of population affected by Hepatitis B in Europe.
What is seen as a great concern is that the doctors refuse to offer this vaccine which is free and obligatory. Another problem is the spread of Hepatitis C in endangered groups.
