More money in circulation after elections

The local elections brought 90 million Usd outside banks. Official data
from the Bank of Albania show that cash has increased in the past two
months.
The Bank says that the money in circulation increased with 5.4 billion ALL in May, and with 5.1 other billion ALL in June, bringing the total to 10.5 billion ALL.
Since banks usually keep the same cash level in their cases, experts say that the more money in circulation is dedicated to the cash that is circulating outside banks.
This indicator shows a revival of the economic activity. It shows there is more demand for money from individuals and businesses, and more transactions in the market.
Bank of Albania experts say that the increased money flow could be related to the elections, since parties fund electoral spending.
