The first weekend of June brought a high number of foreign tourists not only in Southern Albania but also at the Lalzi Bay.
Vlora seems one of the main tourist attractions, with bookings coming not only from Eastern Europe. There were tourists from Germany, France, Italy, England, Russia and Ukraine.
“I come from London. This is my first time in Vlora. I am pleased by the views, the sea and the mountain. I sent pictures to my friends in England and invited them to visit Albania”, a tourist said.
“Albania must work harder for tourism, to promote its beauties even more. While the food is similar to Italy, they need more to do with the service. The Kraburun and Sazan areas should remain untouched. That natural beauty would get ruined if there was overpopulation”, says an Italian tourist.
