More domestic violence reports after Judge killed by ex-husband

In most of the cases, victims have filed a request for protection order. Husbands have been reported for violence not only against their wives, but also against other members of their wives’ families.

Top Channel’s “You Report” has received a report from Merita Doci, from Fushe Kruja, who said she escaped death from her ex-husband, but feels endangered now that he has been released for the past two months.

After the news of the Judge in Tirana, she asks the government for help, and says she feels abandoned by the court and prosecution.

The State Police reacted for this case, saying that they have searched in the area where they think her husband may be hiding, and they ask citizens for information.
