More divorces in Korce

Divorces can now be considered as a broken taboo from the Albanian
society. Once it used to be an unacceptable term, and couple problems
were hidden.

But year after year, the number of divorces in the Korce Court have increased, with immigration and economic problems as the main causes.

Authorities say that compared to one year ago, the divorce cases have increased significantly.

Most of the civilian cases in Korce are about marriage divorces, with most of the requests filed by women.
