More candidates apply for new Vetting Law institutions

Three days before the deadline expires, the candidates for the new
Vetting institutions seem to be responding and filing their
applications.
The Ombudsman, who is managing the process, welcomed dozens of experts who filed their applications today.
“We had more people today who are interested to run for the new Vetting institutions”, said Ombudsman Igli Totozani.
Ombudsman experts are helping for an accurate application.
The EU delegation and the US Embassy to Tirana both appealed legal experts to apply.
The criteria are considered very strong, they are all required to have high professional and moral standards.
Another important criteria is their experience. All candidates should also be clean from the decriminalization law, should have never collaborated with the Secret Service, and should not be more than 65 years old. The Vetting Commission will also have a special treatment for their members, not just a higher wage.
