Winter holidays are the most important ones for Albanians. Many have
planned to celebrate them abroad, and flights are already booked.
However, classic destinations seem to have changed this year.
“There is a constantly increasing request for countries of the region, such as Kosovo, Croatia, Macedonia, and Montenegro. Dubai, Paris and Prague also remain a trend”, says Agim Mehmeti, Sales Director at a tourist agency.
Albanians seem to prefer last minute travels, and they are also starting to go more to Kosovo and other countries of the region for the holidays. Another increasing trend is also that of travels towards warm countries.
